Hi All, I just got an email announcement for a some changes to the memberships available at Jonathan’s Landing in Jupiter.
“We would like to update you on some changes in our Membership opportunities at Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club. Our Tennis Membership has been capped effective March 25, 2016, and a waitlist has been started for those who wish to join Jonathan’s Landing as Tennis Members. Our Sports and House Memberships remain available, but will be capped as well once the Membership is full, and waitlists will begin for each of those Memberships once the cap is in effect.
Our Renter Preview Membership will now be offered as a two year program rather than a three year program in previous years. There will also only be Golf Renter Preview Memberships available as the Tennis and House Renter Preview Memberships have been discontinued.”

Botanica-112 Spikerush Rd, Jupiter FL 33458
I went to show this unit in Botanica at 112 Spikerush Rd in Jupiter FL. This unit had the kitchen replaced by the bank with new granite and new appliances. The appliances are not worthy of the house and will need to be replaced. There is no washer dryer there either. This is a Royal model withe the 4th bedroom built out. I listed the same model last spring at 224 W Bay Cedar which sold for 448k. This is a nice floor plan over all. The kitchen is a bit small but OK. The first floor is all tile. It has wood on the stairs and all carpet on the second floor except in the baths. this unit also has a balcony on the front of the building in addition to the one off the master suite, no pool but it’s directly across the street from the community pool. My estimate on this one is 435-440k.
2016 Florida Legislature Real Estate items of interest
Florida’s 2016 Legislative Sessions have ended, and we are happy to report that one of our top initiatives from Great American REALTOR® Days (GARD), the Sadowski Affordable Housing Trust Funds, has received its highest funding level in nearly a decade.
Lawmakers provided $135.5M for rental assistance (State Housing Initiatives Partnership or SHIP), $5M for homelessness challenge grants, and $64.6M for state housing programs, half of which will go to theState Apartment Incentive Loan (SAIL) program. Also, lawmakers appropriated monies from general revenue and other trust funds for several local housing initiatives: $4M for homelessness programs around the state, $16M for the Low-Income Housing Energy Assistance Program, and $1M for a variety of community development projects.
