In 2018, the median sales price for a single-family home in Palm Beach County was $345,000, a 4.6 percent increase over the previous year. By comparison, median sales prices grew by 7.2 percent in Florida and 2.9 percent nationwide in 2018.
Meanwhile, the number of new foreclosure cases filed in Palm Beach County increased by 11 percent in 2018 to 3768 new filings. However, foreclosure filings have fallen by 38 percent since 2014.

Revenue from property taxes rose by $69.7 million in FY 2018, an increase of 6 percent.
